For the fifth year The Citizens~Ac???c Pact for SEE was a
partner of Exit organization on the social campaign of Exit festival that took
place in Novi Sad, Serbia from 10th to 13th
July.
More than eighty non-governmental organizations
presented themselves at NGO fair.
Agora is a stage at the festival dedicated to those
who try to make the world that we live in a better place, just as the
Non-governmental Organizations Fair some twenty metres away. We all wish there
were less injustice, but we do not all protest when we see someone being
assaulted. That is why it is important to recognize and support those who dare
and do.
This year, the central topic of the Agora was Serbia on its
way to the EU. The citizens have the right to know what the processes of
accession include; what benefits they may expect to have from these processes;
whether there is something to fear; how these processes have evolved and what
their results are in the countries which have already gone that way. Within the
four days of the festival, appropriate to the place and occasion, we tried to
get all those big stories closer to our little lives.
This year, the evenings started with public debates,
discussions and promotions, proceeded with great parties, and ended in informal
conversations with interesting guests at Caf~Aİ Europe.

As part of
the EXIT project ~Ac???cOn the move~Ac???c, TV production Urbans has created 12 twenty-

of the region. Six Belgrade University students who have never been to any of
the countries of former Yugoslavia have, as a result, visited Zagreb,
Podgorica, Sarajevo, Pri~A?!tina and Ljubljana, where they spent three days with
students of local Universities who have never been to Serbia. The second part
of this project will take place during EXIT 08 when both the guests and the hosts
are supposed to come to Novi Sad
and spend four days together in the camp and at the festival. All of the twelve
participants of the series will take part in the public debate ~Ac??AHere, quite
near~Ac??? (~Ac???cTu, sasvim blizu~Ac???c). Apart from the first reactions regarding Serbia and
reminiscing of the Belgrade students~Ac???c first reactions when they first stepped
